God’s Love in Action

My wife dropped me off at the train station one day, and as I got out of our car, I saw that my train was leaving in two minutes. I rushed to the platform and made it inside the train right on time. There were a lot of people, so I opted to find a sweet spot to stand in the main carriage. A senior man was also standing up. A lady seating on the courtesy seat stood up and offered her place. The elderly gentleman accepted the seat and thanked the lady. Right then, a gentleman who I assumed was traveling overseas because of the luggage he was carrying, offered his seat to the lady. Then he stood in the middle of the main carriage with all his baggage. One guy who had a place in one of the corners of the carriage offered his spot to the guy with luggage so that he can secure his belongings. The man with the baggage went to the corner and thanked the man who gave up his spot. My eyes watered at sight. I said to myself, “Man, I just witnessed God’s love in action. These people saw a need and offered help right away. I don’t know if they knew, but they just made God smile because of their simple acts. Matthew 25:40 New International Version (NIV) 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
