In August 2017, I was desperate with my Real Estate business because I was not able to close any sale of a house. I prayed to our Lord Jesus to please bless me for a listing of a house for sale. While I was busy doing some repairs to my home, my workers talked to my neighbour’s daughter who happened to pass by. The daughter asked them how to dispose of some old furniture in their house, so we asked her why? She said she was selling her mother’s home. I asked her if she had a realtor and answered, “No.” I quickly gave my card, and she showed us the house. She promised to contact me when her mother was ready to sell because they still need to make repairs and clean the house. This lady was true to her word, and she contacted me when her mother’s house was ready. In November of 2017, I was able to list her home, and with only five days in the market, it was sold at her asking price. When I think about this sale, I knew that this was how God answered my prayers. We just need faith and trust. If we let God work, our requests will be granted in His perfect time. 1 John 5:14-15 New International Version (NIV) 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
