I Wanted This

It’s been a stressful but meaningful week for me, i made a lot of mistakes and I learned a lot. I am really thankful for people who live very inspiring lives because I’m the type of person who gets invigorated by the success and hardwork of other people. Like i said, it’s been a tough week. I had to read over 30 modules. I had to learn hundreds of policies and procedures in a limited timeframe, and i had to do presentations. I felt that it’s getting too much for me. I remembered the viral video about a kid who had to zipline from a top of a mountain just to go to school. The child was under ten years old in the video and he is sacrificing his life on a daily basis just to get an education. I also recalled a video of young girl who manually grounded corn so that her family would have something to eat. The girl was about five years old and was very cheerful while she did her work. There are still a lot of people who live very inspiring lives. A lot more people who are very good examples of making lemonade from the bitter and sour lemons that life gave them. I looked back at the modules I need to read, I don’t even know why I complain. I prayed to get this job and I love it! I don’t even understand why I think I’m getting too much of it. I’m going to go through all the aspects of my role with enthusiasm and be the best at it. Philippians 2:14-16 New Living Translation (NLT) 14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. 16 Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.
