You Still Lock Your Door

I raised a question on social media if people still trust Jesus. Out of the thousands of users on that platform, only ten people responded to the subject. Out of the ten that reacted only three believed Jesus. I found this very sad.

One answer that jumped off the screen was “If Christians could stop locking their doors and looking both ways before they cross the road I would trust Jesus.”

I don’t want to judge, but based on this comment, I think it’s evidence that some people don’t know God at all. I have faith that God can do things in an instant, but I also believe that He can choose not to. He performs miracles, but in the same way, He also allows us to go through the process of growth— in wisdom, strength, and faith.

God is not our servant that we can call him to watch traffic and our doors for us, He is our creator, and He created us with a purpose! We should revere Him and seek His will in our lives. It’s up to Him if He will bless us instantly, or let us go through stages of progress. The key is to seek and walk in His purpose.

I encourage everyone to read the Bible, set aside time for prayer and get to know our God. He has the best plans for us. Let’s seek Jesus, aim higher, promote good vibes and spread positivity.

2 Samuel 22:32-34 NIV

For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God? {33} It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. {34} He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights.
