Fish Love

I saw a video about an old man who shared a story about a guy eating fish. So he asked the guy “Why are you eating fish?” The guy said, “Because I love fish.” The old man then said, “So you love the fish so much that you killed, boiled, and ate it? You don’t love the fish. You love yourself.”

He went on saying that this type of fish love is now the common conception for love. People love like we love fish. We only like what the person gives us— the feeling, emotion and pleasure— yet we come to the conclusion that we’re sincerely in love, but when we don’t get anything in return, we choose to give up the relationship.

We are desperate for God’s love more than ever. God’s love goes beyond rules and logic. If we learn and practice this kind of love, we will change the world. We will soar higher, promote good vibes and spread positivity.

Romans 5:6-8

For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
