Whose Problem is It?

July 18, 2018

I saw a tweet about an American news anchor losing it. She couldn’t read the report about migrant babies and toddlers being moved to tender age shelters.

I lost it too. I broke into tears. What did those children do to deserve this? We could point fingers, but everyone would have a reason that could be legal or humane. You could make an argument for both while innocent children, babies and toddlers bear the consequences.

So whose problem is this? I guess it’s one of the questions no one can answer except for God. This is one of the situations where it’s difficult to find God’s purpose. But one thing’s for sure. All things work together for good for those who trust in God.

I think this is a call to everyone. Let’s start thinking about how each of us can make this world a better place. Let’s start with us. Let’s be stronger, wiser, and richer so that we can influence positive change in this world. Spread positivity! Promote good vibes!

2 Corinthians 9:8-11

Besides, God is able to make every blessing of yours overflow for you so that in every situation you will always have all you need for any good work. As it is written, “He scatters everywhere and gives to the poor; his righteousness lasts forever.”  Now he who supplies seed to the farmer and bread to eat will also supply you with seed and multiply it and enlarge the harvest that results from your righteousness. In every way, you will grow richer and become even more generous, and this will cause others to give thanks to God because of us.
